CARTONING MACHINE K2

Universal horizontal K series cartoning machines are intended for packaging a wide range of products. They allow single piece packaging or collated packaging. K2 and K3 are used to process the pre-glued cartons.

CARTONING MACHINE CONTROL AND CONFIGURATION

Cartoning machines employ the PLC control systems interfaced to the operator using a touch screen. The control system enables the saving of multiple programs of packaging adjustments.

The basic machine consists of a product infeed conveyor, charge station, storage stacker for carton preforms, carton feeder and a hotmelt gluing unit. K2 and K3 machines operate in the stepper mode. The concept of the machine allows easy and smooth resetting within the dimensional range of cartons.

PACKAGING INTO CARTONS

The infeed conveyor brings goods to the charge station. A carton preform is picked from the stacker and a box is formed. In the next step, in the charge station, products are inserted. Then the carton is glued and closed. A hotmelt gluing system is utilized. Cartoning machine installation has IP Code 54 protection. In the standard design, the machine is painted. K2 and K3 machines have enhanced possibilities with optional tailoring accessories.
